This base dissolves fragrance oil effectively, suitable for making reed diffusers. It can be mixed with essential oil to enhance the scent diffusion. Additionally, this base helps pull the fragrance efficiently through the reed sticks, making the diffusion more effective.

The company offers 3 types of Reed Diffuser bases in total. These bases are factory-made and ready for use; simply mixing the fragrance oil with the bases makes it immediately usable.

 

Differences between 3 types of perfume base

  1. Reed Diffuser Base (alcohol base) : Exceptional scent dispersion, suitable for fragrances ranging from subtle to moderate to strong, catering to all types of scents. It has a medium level of fragrance diffusion rate, making it popular in the reed diffuser industry.
  2. Reed Diffuser Base (non-alcohol) : Excellent scent diffusion, suitable for fragrances with a moderate to strong intensity and a medium to slow diffusion rate. Ideal for products that do not require the inclusion of ethyl alcohol.
  3. Reed Diffuser Base (oil base) : Diffuses a subtle and light scent within a confined space. The base oil is plant-based, suitable for fragrances with a strong, and has a slow to medium diffusion rate. Ideal for products that do not require the addition of alcohol. It is recommended to flip the reed sticks more frequently than usual.

 

General characteristics (from most to least)

  • Diffusion : alcohol base => non-alcohol base => oil base
  • Texture Density : oil base => non-alcohol base => alcohol base
  • Long lasting : oil base => non-alcohol base => alcohol base

 

Equipment.

  1. Fragrance oil or Essential oil
  2. Reed Diffuser Base (alcohol base).
  3. Glass bottle.
  4. Reed diffuser stick
  5. Dropper tube

 

How to do it

  • Mix the Reed Diffuser Base (alcohol base)  with your scents.
  • Pour the ingredients into the packaging bottle.
  • Place in the refrigerator for at least 1 week

 

The recommended mixing ratio is:

  • Reed Diffuser Base: Approximately 60-80%
  • Fragrance oil: Approximately 20-40%
