Natural Characteristics for Scented Pillar Candles have a firmer consistency and can be molded more effectively compared to regular candles. Different types of wax are available, such as pillar soy wax and palm wax, each with distinct properties. Using a wax that is solid is recommended for beautiful molded creations.
Due to variations in the characteristics of different wax types, using 100% natural wax might not result in a flawless appearance. Potential issues include cracking, frosting, white spots, or uneven coloring. These are natural traits of wax and can be addressed by using a blend that incorporates paraffin to create a beautiful texture and reduce issues associated with natural wax. This also makes the process easier.
Making scented pillar candles by hand using soy wax is primarily done with pillar soy wax (thass03) in combination with a paraffin wax blend.
